Martin Nash Memorial Service at The Magic Castle

I got an email today from Kent Wong about a memorial service for the great cardman Martin Nash, "The Charming Cheat" and wanted to pass on the details to everyone. Please attend if you can to remember a wonderfully entertaining performer and Magic Castle legend. Thank you Kent for putting this together.

Hi Acar,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. As you are aware, Martin died about one week ago in Parksville, B.C. He didn't have many friends/family in Parksville, but he always considered the Magic Castle to be his second home.

So, I have been working with the executor of Martin's estate to arrange for the donation of some of his personal effects to the Magic Castle in hopes that we could have a memorial ceremony to celebrate Martin's life. The family agreed and even went so far as to give permission for his ashes to be permanently invested at the Magic Castle.

With that permission in hand, the Magic Castle has graciously agreed to host a memorial celebration for Martin A. Nash. The details are as follows:

Date: August 23, 2009
Time: 4:00 pm

It would be greatly appreciated if you could distribute this announcement to the members of the Penguin community and invite them the attend. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
